I loved this engagement session on how well everything turned out. The extra edit on the Nationwide Archway turned out better than I could imagine. We started the day off at the Scioto Mile fountain. We then walked around to Cosi to get a few architecture photos. We also had their dogs in a few photos and with a treat in my hand they looked right at the camera. We met back up at sunset for a few additional photos around Nationwide Arena and the archway. Everything turned out great! Congratulations Nicole and Jason!
Highbanks Park in the fall is a wonderful location for portraits. The color of the leaves are amazing! I couldn't imagine a better location for an engagement session. Jenny and Brett are a great couple. We started the day at Highbanks park on the Dripping Rock Trail. The wood bridges and the yellow leaves were a perfect backdrop. After Highbanks we went to downtown Columbus for a few nighttime photos. Congratulations Jenny and Brett on your engagement! I'm very excited to photograph their wedding in June!
I always like fall engagement sessions. The color of the trees and using the fall elements in the engagement session. Haylee and Eric used pumpkins to spell out their wedding date and I got some great photos with it. We Started the engagement session at Otterbein University in Westerville to photograph them on the beautiful campus. We then headed to downtown Westerville. We used some unique alleyways and the marquee as backdrops. After that we went downtown to the arena district for a few night time photos. Congratulations Haylee and Eric on your engagement! I can't wait for your wedding in July!
I like that Natalie and Jordan wanted a winter engagement photos instead of a traditional fall or spring engagement session. I always like having an excuse to go down to Athens anyway. I grew up in Athens, went to college and met my wife Jenna there. I know posting this engagement session in the summer is odd but I just wanted to share a few of the images from the session because I think they turned out really well.
We started on College Green, traveled through Baker Center, finished up around Emeriti Park. We then met back up at the College Gateway for some evening shots. I had a great time with them and I just covered their wedding so I hope to have that on my blog next week.
Summer engagement sessions are the best when the weather is perfect and you have a fun couple like Wendy and Michael. We started at Creekside Conference Center and walked around the paths behind it. The fountains, trails, and bridges are great backdrops for the engagement session. After walking around we met back up at sunset for an engagement session. We started at Nationwide arena and traveled to the top of the parking garage to view the sun setting. We then walk all around the area and ended up at the archway by Huntington Park. Below are a few photographs from the engagement session.
