I loved this engagement session on how well everything turned out. The extra edit on the Nationwide Archway turned out better than I could imagine. We started the day off at the Scioto Mile fountain. We then walked around to Cosi to get a few architecture photos. We also had their dogs in a few photos and with a treat in my hand they looked right at the camera. We met back up at sunset for a few additional photos around Nationwide Arena and the archway. Everything turned out great! Congratulations Nicole and Jason!
COSI Planetarium Wedding
I always liked COSI and I love everything about space in general. I own most of the seasons of the History channel show called "The Universe". This wedding was all about space and I loved it! We started the day at the Doubletree Suites on Front street to get a few photos of the bridesmaids getting ready. After that we headed to COSI. I was lucky enough to test out lighting at the rehearsal. I didn't want to blind anyone so I set up my lights on the lowest power and had them pointing down so I wouldn't distract from the ceremony. After the ceremony we went to my other favorite part of COSI the Progress exhibit. The purple like fall sky looks awesome in photos. I couldn't imagine photographing a COSI wedding without going through here. We then went to the reception in the upstairs gallery. The theme was under the stars and it was very well decorated. Congratulations Alyssa and Eric!
I had a great time Allison and Justin at Schiller Park in German Village for their engagement photos. We started on a gorgeous day in Columbus at the park. I found some great spots that had some shade and a few sports I have not tried in a while. I love how the clouds looked that day as well. The photos turned out great. We met back up in the evening for a few more photos by COSI and the Columbus skyline at night. I think I might put some of these images on my front page of my website.
Here is a slide show I made of Ruchika and Sarvpreet's extra engagement photos. Enjoy!
Columbus Skyline Engagement Video
I loved shooting this engagement session. Columbus is so beautiful at night along the Scioto Mile with the skyline in the background. I like the fountain at night with the mist. I have to come back here. This is part two of a three part series. Tomorrow I will be posting a video of the extra engagement photos from this session.
I think Andrea and Richard picked the perfect fall day to have their engagement session. The trees were so colorful in the middle of October it was perfect. They even brought an umbrella that almost matched the trees behind them. We started the day at Inniswood Metro Gardens walked around for quite a while a found some great spots for portraits. We met back up in the evening for a few night time portraits with the Columbus Skyline in the background. Congratulations to Andrea and Richard!
