Heritage Golf Club Wedding Photography
Jennifer and Sam are a fun couple. Sam is a funny guy always cracking jokes and Jennifer is really sweet. All around they are a great couple to be around. I started the day at the Heritage Golf Club as Jennifer and Sam are getting ready. Everything was decorated beautifully by Jody and her staff. I then photographed both sides of the wedding party in from of the fireplace and added some nice lighting to it. We then went to the wood retaining wall for a few more portraits in the shade. The ceremony was held outside on the patio and the sunset was wonderful.
This is one of the best weddings I have ever photographed this year. Viewing the images from this day makes me love my job so much more. I get to follow two people throughout the day that they will remember forever and I am the lucky guy that gets to capture it all. Making the album for their wedding was a lot of fun as well. All the little details and the weather made everything work.
I started the day at the Hilton at Polaris as the women were getting ready. I photographed the dress in the doorway to give it some depth and stand out. I then went on over to the guys at The Lakes Golf Club and got a few photos of the guys hanging out. After that we went to the ceremony at St. Peter's Catholic Church. Everything went really well. As we were going downtown it started to rain a little. I had an idea in my head to make the skyline go dark. So I put my flash on full power and had them kiss. I love how it torned out.
We then headed to COSI for a few more photos with the skyline. After that we went to the The Lake Golf Club for the reception. Everything looked great and loved all the details. Congratulations Kristin and Mark!
I always like going to different places in Ohio to photograph weddings. I am always looking for something new. I photographed Sarah and Zach down at Ohio University for their engagement session last fall. Their session turned out great with all the fall leaves on the ground. Here is a link to the Athens engagement session. The day of the wedding we headed up to Bucyrus Ohio. The church was beautiful. We also found a park that worked out great for wedding party creative portraits. During the reception they used the Ohio University flag to hold up and get a photo of all the OU alumni that attended the wedding. The photos that I enjoyed the most are the ones with the pond and sunset in the background. Scroll down to view them.
I loved this wedding with Talisa and LD. I had so much fun from the beginning to the end. Everyone was so happy and everything turned out great! Everything was at the Hilton Hotel at Polaris. I attended the rehearsal the day before and scouted around the hotel. I found a great spot for taking wedding party portraits around the corner. I never know this place existed. The spot looked like a Japanese tea garden and worked perfectly for the outside portraits. I started the day with Talisa the bride getting ready. I got some great moments with her writing down a message for her groom LD. Both of them were very excited to open their gifts for easy other. The ceremony was held inside the ballroom and they almost forgot to do their first kiss after they jumped the broom. We then walked on over to the garden and got some wonderful photographs of the wedding party and just the bride and groom. After that we went to the reception and also captured some great moments there as well. Congratulations Talisa and LD!

Chelsea and Colby’s wedding was so wonderful. The ceremony was held at one of their family’s friends house and it was so beautiful. The grounds looked a lot like Monticello and we didn’t have a drop of rain the entire day. I was floored to see how great this property looked. There were endless amount places for portraits. I was like a kid in a candy store. I am so happy to share with everyone the photos below.
Allyson and Ben’s wedding was wonderful. It was a perfect day with no rain. They choose St. James Catholic Church for their ceremony and The Medallion Club for their reception site. I started at the Medallion Club with Allyson for her hair and makeup. Her hair stylist was Holly Juddah and her makeup was done by Candy Thomas. We traveled to St. James Catholic Church for the ceremony. Everything turned out great! We then went to the Medallion Club for the portraits and reception. The Medallion Club is one of my favorite reception halls because of the wonderful staff and the golf course is so beautiful! I couldn’t ask for a better place for a reception. Below are a few of my favorite images for the wedding.
The Wedding Details:

Amy and Ben were a lot of fun to work with on their wedding day. We traveled quite a bit for the portraits because we had so much time. I loved it! The more time you can give your wedding photographer the better the portraits are going to be. Their photos turned out fantastic! We started at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Worthington. I was there for the rehearsal to view the lighting the day before and it was great to see it so lit up. The blue background behind the alter was a great accent and it was decorated beautifully. After the Ceremony we took a few photos at The Brookside Country Club. This was one of the most beautiful Country Clubs I have seen around Columbus and perfect for photos. We then traveled to the Park of Roses because we had so much time. There are a few areas that I love and I think the wedding party had some fun also. Right before the reception I got to take Amy and Ben out again for a few more photos around Brookside on the golf course. I am so happy with the photos. Below are a few of my favorites from that day.
