Virtues Golf Club Wedding | Abby and Chase

Virtues Golf Club Wedding

I love photographing golf club weddings. The green grass, rolling hills, and small ponds are great backdrops for portraits. Abby and Chase’s wedding turned out great! We started at the St Nicholas Catholic Church in Zanesville. The candid moments during the ceremony of Abby looking back at her dad were great. This is the main reason I have a second photographer. This moment would not have been captured otherwise. After the ceremony we traveled to Virtues Golf Club (formally Longaberger Golf Club) This is one of the best golf courses I have seen. The rolling hills, wonderful landscapes, and on obscured sunsets are perfect. Chase is a pro golfer so we had to get a putt in on his wedding day. The sunset on their wedding day was perfect as well and I used it for the last spread for their album. Congratulations Abby and Chase!

Golf Club of Dublin Wedding | Betsy and Quinn

This wedding was a lot of fun with all the musical details. Betsy and Quinn are both music professionals and incorporated it very well in their wedding. The wreaths outside the church were made out of sheet music, the guest book were piano keys, and we even threw sheet music in the air for a very unique portrait. After the ceremony we went to Golf Club of Dublin. The landscape was beautiful! The sun was low and had some gorgeous light come through the trees. Congratulations betsy and Quinn!

Orthodox Jewish Wedding Photography Columbus, Ohio

Last year I had the pleasure to photograph a jewish orthodox wedding with CJ Studios from New York City at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Columbus, Ohio. This wedding was over the top with detail, traditions, and 500 people in attendance. I have covered jewish weddings before but nothing like this. I was responsible for covering portraiture for the groom before the wedding. We got the permit for using the State House the day of the wedding so we could use it for portraits. The permit was well worth it and now I encourage most of my future brides to get it if the wedding is downtown. You have to check out the photos below to see how great this wedding was. I am photographing two destination jewish orthodox weddings in Detroit this May and June that I am very excited for!
