This Columbus Athenaeum Wedding with Anna and Jay.
This wedding was pretty changeling to say the least but the photos turned out so much better than I could have ever imagined. I think I do very well under pressure. Anna and Jay didn’t want to see each other before the ceremony and the sun was setting at 5pm. Basically the lighting was all up to me after the ceremony. This was the ultimate test for all my skills and it worked out great! We started at Northwest Christian Church in Upper Arlington. We got a few portraits of the groomsmen and bridesmaids outside before the ceremony. The ceremony went well and then we took a few portraits after sunset behind the church in the woods. The lighting was critical and turned out great. We then traveled to COSI to have the Columbus skyline in the background. After that we went to Scioto Mile Bicentennial Park. The fountain was not lit up because it was November. So I quickly put a red gel on my flash and put it in the background. The result was amazing. After taking photos at the fountain we traveled to the reception at the Columbus Athenaeum. The lighting was a little tricky there as well with the high ceilings but everything turned out great! Congratulations Anna and Jay!
