Wedding Photos Published in the (614) Magazine

I got a call from the editor of (614) Magazine last month looking for wedding photos from Franklin Park Conservatory, COSI and a few other venues around Columbus. I was happy to point him to my Photographs for Vendors section of my website. He was thrilled to see all the photos of venues around Columbus on the gallery. The Magazine settled on a great photo of the Palm House at the Franklin Park Conservatory and the river front of COSI. I was thrilled to see it in the magazine. Stephanie and Philip - Franklin Park Conservatory Wedding

I had a great time with Stephanie and Philip on their wedding day. The ceremony and reception was at the Franklin Park Conservatory. The weather was wonderful and everything turned out great. It was a Sunday in October so it was like we had the whole place to ourselves. The colors on the trees were magnificent! I am so happy how the photos turned out.

I photographed a wedding with a friend of mine at the Franklin Park Conservatory a little while ago. I love the Franklin Park Conservatory so much for it's glass work by Dale Chihuly and all the beautiful locations inside and outside the Conservatory. Megan and Andy's engagement session at Franklin Park Conservatory

This past Sunday I had a great time with Megan and Andy.  They are getting married June 6 of next year.  We started at the Franklin Park Conservatory. Andy was a little hesitant at first with the engagement session as most guys are.  As I warmed up to them they found that it was more fun than they expected.  With all my engagement sessions I try to get the couple talking to each other and making them laugh. I like to place them in a location and get them to flirt and interact with each other not looking at the camera. This is great for more natural smiles and make the couple feel more comfortable. A lot of communication is done with the eyes. Once you see an engaged couple look at each other you can see their love for each other and that is what I love to capture. 

I like to have engagement sessions in the Franklin Park Conservatory because it is always colorful and the sun light hits certain parts of the floor highlighting the engaged couple. 

I love these moments when you can see the twinkle in their eyes.

Another thing I like about shooting engagement sessions at the Franklin Park Conservatory is that I almost always find something I have not seen before.
