Pinnacle Golf Club Wedding

I had the pleasure of photographing Kaylyn and Jonathan's wedding at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Grove City, Ohio. It was a little cold outside but I got a some great photos of the groomsmen with Jonathan on the patio. I also checked on the bridesmaids and they were all ready for a few portraits before the wedding. We stayed inside for them and the photos turned out great. The ceremony was held in the ballroom and I was so pleased to great such great photos from it. After the ceremony it was real easy on the guests because they could say in the same area and enjoy cocktail hour as we went around the Pinnacle Golf Club with the wedding party. Inniswood Gardens Snow - Westerville, Ohio

This is one of the most mild winters I have experienced in a long time. Usually I never see the sun this time of year because of overcast skies in Columbus. It seems like most of the time there is some snow or ice on my car every other day. This winter it has been 40-50 degrees almost every day. So when the snow finally fell I decided to go to Inniswood Gardens walk around, try some new paths, and take a few photographs of the snow fall. I bundled up so I could concentrate on taking photos and not the cold. Below are a few of the photos that I enjoyed taking at Inniswood Gardens.

Tiffany and Kurt's Ashland Ohio Wedding

Tiffany and Kurt a great couple that absolutely love each other no question about it. I was very honored that Tiffany chose me to be her wedding photographer because Tiffany photographs weddings as well. When I had to choose my wedding photographer I was very picky and took some time to find someone that has a style like mine. Tiffany and Kurt were so wonderful to work with. When I displayed to photos at the reception Tiffany was so delighted and pleased to see some of the best photos from that day. I love shooting weddings and viewing other people’s reaction when they see their wedding photos is priceless to me. We started the day in Ashland Ohio salon Toppers. I got a few nice photos of Tiffany getting her hair done. After that I went to the Trinity Lutheran Church on Center Street to photograph the guys getting ready and headed down to the track field. Kurt is a state champion in shot put so I wanted to incorporate some dramatic images with the track equipment. I couldn't be more pleased on how the images turned out. When Kurt saw the images on my laptop at the reception he loved it. We traveled back to the Trinity Lutheran Church for the ceremony. My wife Jenna captured a wonderful photo of Tiffany's father kissing her head right before they walked down the aisle. This is one of the many reasons I love Jenna shooting beside me. After the ceremony we found some train tracks and I got some wonderful shots with the sunset in the background. The reception was at a barn and I loved all the little details outside and in. The lights were old fashioned large bulbs, cards for people to write their wishes for the couple and clothes pins to hang them on a string afterwards. It was a photographers dream. Emily and Ryan's Wedding at the Columbus Greek Orthodox

Emily and Ryan's Wedding was one of my favorite weddings of 2011. Every photo looked like it was portfolio worthy. I think I might make a studio sample album out of this wedding. We started at the Hampton Inn on High street to photograph Emily getting her hair done and a few dress photos. I also love to do commercial work with gifts when ever I get a chance. I had the opportunity to do this with the perfume that Emily received as a gift. I really liked how it turned out. We then traveled to the St. Francis of Assisi Church. The church had such a wonderful glowing light to it from the stain-glass windows on the left hand side. It was perfect because I never use flash during the ceremony. After the ceremony we went to Goodale Park for a few portraits. I took one of my favorite photos of 2011 here. I might get a copy for my wall. When we were walking around the reception hall for a few last second portraits and I was so glad we did. I captured another great photo with the Short North sign in the background along with and beautiful sunset. We arrived at the Greek Orthodox Church Reception Hall and I set up right away for the first dance. I put a remote flash behind them and got some great photos out of that as well. Kaylan and Kevin's River Club Wedding

I really enjoyed Kaylan and Kevin's Wedding at the River Club at Confluence Park. The view was spectacular! The food was amazing and Kaylan and Kevin were a lot of fun to work with. We started to get ready at the Overbrook Presbyterian Church on 4131 N. High Street. The ceremony was beautiful and I got some great photos of the flower girl along with their exit from the church. We then traveled to Nationwide Blvd Arch Park. The photos that I got from here are some of my favorite from all year. I love it when the entire wedding party lines up and I tell them to start laughing at each other. It breaks the ice and everyone has fun doing it. When then do all the other fun shots along with some romantic photos of just Kaylan and Kevin together. We then went to River Club at Confluence Park for the wedding reception. As I said before the view was awesome and the reception was fantastic. I back lit their first dance and loved it. The staff at the River Club were great as well. I just wish I had more weddings there because there are so many portrait locations I would love to try. Below are just a few of my favorite photos from their wedding.
